Internet agency ranking 2020: Appsfactory records the biggest leap among the top 35 agencies to reach 4th place among the fastest growing digital agencies

Appsfactory takes 31st place in the Internet Agency Ranking published this week by iBusiness, moving up a further eight places towards the top 30 after placing 39th in 2019.  Pleasingly, the agency also achieved fourth place in the sub-ranking of the fastest growing agencies (with an annual turnover of more than 2.5 million euros) and ninth place in the sub-ranking “Digital Transformation and Strategy”. Appsfactory, which was recently named one of 2020’s most attractive employers in the field of medium-sized businesses by Focus Business, has now grown to over 210 employees, who contribute significantly to the success story of the limited company.

With four sites in Leipzig, Hamburg, Munich and Erfurt, more than 600 completed projects and over ten years of experience, Appsfactory is stronger than ever in 2020.  Last but not least, the company’s collaboration with long-term customers including Daimler, FAZ, Tagesschau, Trützschler and Deutsche Bahn continuously produces innovative digital products with state-of-the-art technologies – from connectivity and high-performance apps to industry 4.0 applications and language assistants. “A brand’s digital transformation cannot be achieved by introducing standard software such as Magento. If you want to develop new products and services, they must be brought to the end customer as individual software. This is a rare skill in digital agencies – and we certainly benefit from it greatly,” is Trommen’s explanation of Appsfactory’s competitiveness and expertise. He founded the company with Dr. Roman Belter and Dr. Rolf Kluge in 2009. The agency’s portfolio now includes over 90 clients in the media, automotive and finance, eCommerce and education, health, travel and telecommunications sectors. The entrepreneurs are happy to be able to continue to grow the company and execute new projects despite the particularly challenging economic situation going on at present. This success has been facilitated, in particular, by the focus on customer diversity as well as high quality requirements concerning software products and employees in recent years, which are paying off more than ever, especially in the current climate.

About the Internet Agency Ranking

The Internet Agency Ranking published by iBusiness lists the strongest full-service agencies with the highest turnover active in the production of interactive applications. The ranking is an initiative of the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW) in co-production with HighText iBusiness and the marketing trade journals Horizont and W&V. The most successful agencies in Germany are evaluated using an overall ranking and a total of seven sub-rankings.

Appsfactory is delighted with this success and is fully motivated to enter the next round of the race to climb even higher in the rankings.
