Appsfactory releases update of Deutschlandradio’s Dlf Audiothek app with new features

Just in time for Christmas, users of the Dlf Audiothek App can look forward to some exciting new features with the update released this week. Appsfactory developed the Dlf Audiothek App on behalf of Deutschlandfunk for iOS and Android, with the first release in August 2017. The app makes it possible to listen to all live broadcasts as well as the episodes from the last six months of the entire schedule of the three stations Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Deutschlandfunk Nova.

New since the current update: Users of the app can now not only mark their preferred programmes as favourites under “My Radio”, but also create and save their own playlists. This means that they are not only able to add entire programmes, but can include individual episodes to their personal playlist too. In addition, a single click on the homepage can now trigger the playback of a “content tape”. This means that several episodes are played back automatically one after the other, so that they no longer have to be opened individually. Two other practical features of the new update: With the sleep timer function, you can set the automatic deactivation of the app after the current post or after a freely defined time. The radio alarm clock, which can be activated directly from the homepage, ensures that users hear the latest when they wake up. Both functions are also available in offline mode. Furthermore, the playback speed of all episodes can now be set manually, and various technical improvements ensure even more stable performance.

The optimisations associated with the update ensure even more intuitive usability for users, who rate the Dlf Audiothek app with an excellent 4.2 stars in the Google Play Store and 4.4 stars in the iTunes App Store.

Appsfactory hopes all Dlf Audiothek users continue to enjoy the app and have a very special radio experience!
