Appsfactory opens new location in Cologne
Appsfactory’s new Cologne location opened officially on 1 July 2021.
After the company’s founding in Leipzig (2009), branches in Hamburg (2016), Erfurt (2018) and Munich (2019) followed. In the context of its location in a key urban centre at the heart of the media landscape in western Germany, the Cologne branch constitutes another important step in the company’s ambitious growth strategy. The Appsfactory subsidiary already based in the city, Peak Performance Apps (PPA), will therefore also move into the new premises.
“We are delighted to be able to give our clients and partners in the field of high-performance TV applications a personal welcome in a central location. The new office also enables closer collaboration with the developers and design experts at Appsfactory. In this way, strategic concepts can be made even more tangible in the context of audience interactions,” explains PPA’s Managing Director, Christian Stache.
In addition to the importance of the location for clients from the media landscape, the new office also offers the company more room for growth:
“Appsfactory has been one of the ten fastest organically growing digital agencies in the BVDW’s internet agency ranking for years. By 2025, our goal is to double our employees to 500 experts. As a new location, Cologne is an essential building block in Appsfactory’s aim to become the leading owner-managed full-service provider in the field of applications and digital transformation in Germany.” – Appsfactory’s CEO Alexander Trommen
With a team currently numbering over 230 employees, Appsfactory is represented throughout Germany by numerous domestic and international projects. Now, other customers from the Cologne region – in addition to existing ones such as WDR, RTL, Super RTL, Flaschenpost, Henkel and Vonovia – can benefit from a personal exchange with Appsfactory and PPA.
