APPSfactory named Finalist for 2014 “Entrepreneur Of The Year” Award
The award for “Entrepreneur Of The Year“ was presented this year for the 18th time during ceremonies held at the German Historical Museum in Berlin on Friday, November 7, 2014. Television moderator Judith Rakers served as host for the evening event, which featured a keynote address delivered by Federal Minister for Special Affairs, Peter Altmaier. The “Entrepreneur Of The Year“ award honors excellence in business in the categories services/IT, manufacturing, consumer goods/commerce as well as start-ups. Organized by the auditing and consulting firm of Ernst & Young, the competition receives support from major companies and media outlets such as Jaguar Land Rover, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Manager Magazine and CNC.
Forty-five finalists were chosen through a rigorous, multi-stage selection process. The “Entrepreneur Of The Year“ award is primarily aimed at recognizing the best of Germany’s small to medium-sized companies as measured by their impressive rates of growth, their high capacity for innovation and their commitment to social engagement.
Although APPSfactory did not win any of the four prizes – the firm was nevertheless very pleased to have been named a finalist in the “Entrepreneur Of The Year” competition. The Leipzig-based agency specializing in app-development is one of the leading designers and developers of applications for smartphones, tablets, smart watches and smart TV. Expanding from 0 to 75 employees over five years, APPSfactory is one of the fastest growing multimedia agencies in Germany’s new eastern states.
Being chosen as finalist for “Entrepreneur Of The Year“ is testament to the agency’s success. CEOs Dr. Alexander Trommen, Dr. Roman Belter and Dr. Rolf Kluge would like to express their thanks to all the agency’s clients and employees.
