Appsfactory has been one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe for two years in a row.
Leipzig, 16 March 2022. In 2021, and again in March 2022, the Financial Times included Appsfactory in its ranking “FT1000 – Europe’s fastest-growing companies”.
Growth despite the crises
The decisive factor for the ranking was the period between 2017 and 2020, in which the absolute growth for our full-service digital agency was 165 per cent. The average growth per year was thus 38.43 per cent. Our agency made an even bigger leap in terms of the number of employees. In the period in question, the company grew from 105 to 243 experts by the beginning of 2022. This means a growth of about 230 per cent. Despite the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, Appsfactory’s revenues increased from €18.1 million to €21.5 million in the fiscal year 2021.
“Being represented in the FT1000 ranking for the second time in a row confirms that we at Appsfactory have adopted the right course in recent years. It is also a testimony to our success in numerous projects,” explains Alexander Trommen, PhD, CEO of Appsfactory. “As a digital agency, we have continuously expanded our portfolio and our services. While serving our existing customers, we have also grown in new business areas. Today, we are proud not only to design and develop entire digital products but also to accompany them throughout their entire life cycle. We meet our high quality standards in the process due to our highly qualified employees, and I wish to thank them in particular.”
Appsfactory was founded in 2009 by Alexander Trommen, PhD, Roman Belter, PhD, and Rolf Kluge, PhD. The agency’s portfolio now includes over 90 clients in the media, automotive, energy, real estate, finance, eCommerce and education, health, travel, and telecommunications sectors. Despite the challenging economic situation, our success in recent years has been due to, in particular, our focus on customer diversity and our high-quality standards, such as ISO certifications.
