Appsfactory celebrates its 9th anniversary with a new logo, more than 85 number 1 apps and over 120 employees

Appsfactory, Germany’s leading specialised agency for mobile applications, is celebrating its 9th anniversary in October 2018. Today and just in perfect timing for the anniversary, the agency is presenting its new logo, which reflects a more modern and lighter look. In addition to the recently relaunched website, the new logo represents another element in view of the redesign of Appsfactory´s corporate design. Within the upcoming 12 months – the agency will celebrate its 10th anniversary in October 2019 – further innovations with regard to fonts, colors and merchandise articles are planned. With its headquarter in Leipzig and offices in Hamburg and Erfurt, Appsfactory now employs more than 120 people from 15 nations. In 2018, the agency was selected into the top 5 of the competition “Saxony Entrepreneur of the Year” and ranked in the 50th position of the national Internet Agency Ranking, and in the subrankings “Mobile“ and “Business Transformation“ even in the 11th position.

Design Thinking meets Creative Coding

The central element of Appsfactory’s formula of success is the team: Highly specialized user experience and user interface designers as well as creative programmers implement innovative and high-performance native front-end and back-end applications. Appsfactory additionally represents agile software development in daily project routine – all project managers and managing directors are certified Professional Scrum Masters.

Besides a large number of top rankings in the stores (the agency’s apps have already been positioned 85 times in the top position of all apps in the app stores), numerous awards, which Appsfactory has won for its outstanding performance in terms of design, innovation and project conception, serve as a proof for the agency’s success. Most recently, the NDR EO app was one of the finalists at the UX Design Award and the game app “My Lidl World” received the silver Annual Multimedia Award 2019. The Tagesschau App 2.0 has by itself already won more than ten awards, this week it was awarded as Silver Winner in the category Apps – News & Entertainment at the international Lovie Awards.

Extensive expertise with experience from more than 600 successfully implemented digital projects

As a full service agency Appsfactory accompanies its customers from the beginning with consulting and conception in interdisciplinary concept and creative workshops as well as with DevOps consulting and design thinking workshops, where customers benefit from the agency’s extensive experience from over 600 successfully implemented digital projects.

Last year, Appsfactory expanded its customer base, which now consists of more than 80 well-known companies from a wide range of industries, and successfully implemented new projects for companies such as MDR, Vattenfall, Hirmer and SUPER RTL. Especially with regard to the further development in the health sector, Beurer is considered an important partner of Appsfactory, with which several projects, including for connected devices, as well as for the health and lifestyle industry were implemented and the certification of software as a medical device has been driven forward. As an expert in the area of machine learning, the agency has implemented the new app version FAZ.NET with a personalized message selection this year. Apps as part of a customer loyalty campaign like that for Vattenfall or news apps with a modular kit like that for the MDR, amplify the agency’s diverse portfolio.

The partners in the digital industry also appreciate this expertise: Appsfactory has been part of the Google Agency Program since 2017, and has been an official Microsoft Gold Partner since 2018 and additionally is Amazon Alexa Featured Agency.
