Deutsche Lufthansa

Together with KB&B, a special agency for children's marketing, we developed several children's apps for various age groups for Deutsche Lufthansa, including the Super JetFriends game app for children aged 7 and over. Without advertising and in-app purchases, the age-appropriate mobile game, in a fun and playful way, brings children closer with how airports operate.

Task

  • Lufthansa wanted an innovative children's app to launch a branding campaign for the 2016 summer travel season, focused specifically on children
  • The US mega trend “Kids Can Code” was to be integrated into the game:
    • The children solve tasks with simple programming commands
    • This encourages logical thinking and tactics - and is a lot of fun
    • Lufthansa has developed the first app in the German-language App Store with this game principle

  • In the top ten in the category Kids (6-8 years of age)
  • 4.0 star rating on iTunes
  • 4.4 star rating on Google Play
