Task

• The content from the three programmes Deutschlandfunk, Deutschlandradio Kultur and DRadio Wissen are to be made available in apps for the mobile platforms iOS and Android
• The following goals are to be achieved in doing this:
  • Simple and intuitive operability
  • Finding content is easy with an efficient search function
  • The content in the media library should also be available in the apps
  • Uninterrupted audio and live streaming whilst surfing in the app at the same time
  • Audio clips also able to be listened offline (excl. HLS) - save feature
  • Adaptive bit rate adjustment for audio streaming
  • Create and manage a playlists for audio programmes and play them as a stream
  • Like function for programmes already listened to
  • Document result lists - short links to broadcasts of the user's choice
  • Configurability of topics (content groups) on the start page (links to result lists)
