The new DB Ausflug app offers its users 100 varied tours throughout Berlin and Brandenburg as well as exclusive tips for excursions to sights in the region, including offline maps, public transport information and weather forecasts.

  • Deutsche Bahn's excursion app was to offer users uncomplicated and concrete recommendations for 160 excursion destinations in the Berlin-Brandenburg-Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region that can all be reached by train
  • An emotional, inspiring app with reliable (real-time) data that focuses on curated impressions in addition to POI information was the goal
  • In order to achieve this, rail connections had to be queried via the DB HAFAS and Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Authority (VBB) interfaces
